During Nintendo's Animal Crossing Direct livestream, a total of more than a dozen new and returning villagers and NPCs were revealed, including those who will be joining the New Horizons expansion.
Katrina is a new non-player character (NPC) in Animal Crossing: New Leaf. In every Animal Crossing game to date, Katrina has made an appearance, often acting as a fortune teller. However, she would go on to make fortunes that came true and provide fortune cookies to lucky players in later versions of Animal Crossing, despite having a minor role in the GameCube version. New Horizons revealed that she also had the capability of transporting players to the Star Matrix, but Nintendo did not go into detail about the extent of her abilities.Kapp'n is a brand-new NPC to the ACNH universe. The captain of his own ship, as implied by his name, Kapp'n is responsible for ferrying players between islands in the game. However, unlike the original Animal Crossing, Kapp'n is not a reskin of the Dodo Airlines NPCs (who retain their position on the island as well as their existing services), but rather transports players to Animal Crossing Mystery Islands, which are located in different hemispheres with a variety of plant life and biomes.Harriet is a new NPC who has been added to the ACNH roster. The game's pink poodle hairdresser, Harriet, offers players the opportunity to try out new hairstyles, which was another feature that was requested.Animal Crossing hairstyles, on the other hand, have always been severely lacking and restricted, despite the fact that New Horizons introduced significantly more customization options than previous games. Players will be able to experiment with different looks and put their ACNH bells to good use now that Harriet has returned to the game.
Tortimer's letter to the ACNH regarding the formation of a new non-profit organization (NPC).
1. Animal Crossing games' Tortimer has had a long and successful career, previously serving as mayor of most towns until Animal Crossing: New Leaf, when players took over the role of mayor for the first time in the game's history
2. In spite of some fans' fears that Tortimer had met his end, Tortimer will be returning to ACNH in the near future to assist with item storage
3. There are many players who have been playing since the beginning and are unable to organize or store all of their furniture, which is why ACNH bells is fantastic that this will be addressed in version 2
Roswell is a newcomer to the Agricultural Community of New Hampshire.Roswell also made an appearance in Dbutsu no Mori e+, where he was known as Pironkon and was a character that could only be played by using an e-Reader. Because of his sandy color palette and strange eyes, his design is distinctive but not particularly appealing. Roswell has appeared as a Lazy Villager in a number of previous titles. Despite the fact that some ACNH fans may find his bizarre markings and patterns endearing, others are unlikely to be willing to give up their limited island space in order to make room for him. Although he has unusual markings and patterns, some ACNH fans may find him endearing in spite of them.Frett Frett is a Dog Villager who appeared in Dbutsu no Mori e+ and was previously known as Champagne. Frett Frett was previously known as Champagne. He is a newcomer to the village of ACNH.Unlike most Dog Villagers, this one is designed in the manner of a father and has two eyes that are set too far apart from one another. In previous games, he exhibited the personality trait of being a grumpy old codger. It is currently unknown whether or not Frett's interior design from previous games will be carried over to this game. The ACNH has gained another new villager with the addition of Azalea to their ranks. Aspects of Azalea's design are reminiscent of Meringue, including white markings that appear to be frosting and a neon blue color palette reminiscent of frosting. In her final appearance in the franchise, Dbutsu no Mori e+, Azalea was also known by the name Petunia, which was the first time she appeared under that name. In previous appearances, it has been established that Azalea has the Snooty personality type; however, this could change in Animal Crossing: New Horizons due to her newfound maturity.
